INFORMATION ABOUT THE NURSERY GRANT. The Government has now set target for Children's education. The aim of the Nursery education scheme is to make these benefits available to every 3 and 4 year old. Each Council will have their own specific criteria as to qualification. In Lewisham all parents of 3 to 5-year-old children are entitled to a grant, for 3 terms of quality education.
